A Life of Service

I'm a lifelong West Virginian, retired correctional officer, union leader, farmer, and small business owner. Raised in a hardworking Fayette County family, I've learned the value of honesty, perseverance, and standing up for what's right. Today, I'm running for the West Virginia Senate to protect our communities, strengthen education, support working families, and preserve our Appalachian heritage.

← I'm the baby in this photo! I was born in Montgomery and raised on Beauty Mountain in Fayette County, where hard work wasn't a choice—it was a way of life. I grew up in a family that taught me to treat people fairly, keep my word, and always do the right thing. Those lessons shaped the person I am today and continue to guide every decision I make.

I'm running for the West Virginia Senate because I believe our state deserves leaders who will put people first. I want to protect our farms and natural resources from data centers, strengthen our schools, support working families, and restore community control over the decisions that affect our future. I'm not running to build a political career—I'm running to help build a stronger West Virginia.
